Sevilla take on Manchester United at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne for a place in this season’s Europa League final.
Sevilla advanced to this stage after narrowly defeating Wolves in a tight encounter, whereas Man Utd needed extra time to defeat Copenhagen in their Quarter-Final clash.

Sevilla have no injury concerns with Nemanja Gudelj doubtful after only returning from self-isolation on Friday after testing positive for Coronavirus.
Man Utd have no fresh injury concerns to report as Axel Tuanzebe (foot), Luke Shaw (ankle) and Phil Jones (knee) remain absent.
- Sevilla are unbeaten in two previous meetings against Manchester United in all UEFA competitions (W1, D1).
- Man Utd have progressed from four of their last five semi-final appearances in all UEFA competitions, although those previous ties were all two-legged contests.
- No team has scored more goals in this season’s Europa League than Man Utd who have netted 24 goals in 11 matches.
Given Sevilla’s successful track record of lifting the title in each of the last five seasons in which they have reached this stage, it is hard to look past them to repeat that feat for a sixth time.
Man Utd however aren’t as physically spent as Wolves were despite needing extra time to beat Copenhagen, which should make this more of a contest because Utd can easily sit back and try to catch Sevilla on the counter given the midfield quality available.
I therefore am expecting a tense battle because if Sevilla dominate like they did against Wolves, Utd need to be defensively strong which is surely a concern given their inconsistency all season despite having a strong attack available.
Either way, we should expect a scrappy match full of chances but if Sevilla turn up and dominate then I can see one outcome.
Prediction: Sevilla 2-1 Manchester United
Result: Sevilla 2-1 Manchester United
