Derby County welcome Nottingham Forest to Pride Park in Saturday’s big Sky Bet Championship clash, as the East Midlands rivals collide in the race for promotion.
A win for Derby can send them sixth ahead of the afternoon matches, whilst Forest could leapfrog Brentford into third with victory before the Bees take on Wigan later in afternoon.

Jayden Bogle is a doubt for Derby after being substituted with a knee injury in midweek at Preston.
Tom Lawrence (suspension), Andre Wisdom (personal reason), Jack Marriott (groin) and Krystian Bielik (knee) are ruled out.
Forest have no fresh injury concerns to report ahead of this match with Sabri Lamouchi having a full squad available for selection.
- Derby are winless in their last five meetings against Nottingham Forest, including losing their last three clashes (D2, L3).
- Forest have won just one of their last eight trips to Pride Park (W1, D2, L5).
- Derby haven’t scored in any of their last five matches against Forest.
This is a huge game because a win could certainly put Derby right in the play-off frame and four points behind Forest, who have just been strong since the season restart with so many players capable of causing issues.
As a local Midlands derby though, both teams will be desperate to win even without a crowd present so I am expecting goals but Derby’s defence hasn’t been the strongest, which could be ripe for Forest to expose if are clinical enough.
Prediction: Derby County 1-2 Nottingham Forest
