Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Recalled to England Squad

Gareth Southgate has recalled Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for this month’s UEFA Euro 2020 qualifiers against Montenegro and Kosovo.

Oxlade-Chamberlain was left out of last month’s squad due to little game time but after impressing for Liverpool in recent games, the midfielder has regained his place in the national squad.

Callum Hudson-Odoi also makes his return after missing the last three international breaks with an Achilles injury.

John Stones replaces Michael Keane in defence after the Everton defender suffered a slip of form in the past month, whilst Stones himself was left out of the last two squad selections due to injury.

Fabian Delph, Tom Heaton and James Maddison all return after drawing with injury or illness in Maddison’s case last month.
