Arsenal welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Emirates Stadium as both teams look to put midweek Carabao Cup heartbreak behind them.
Depending on what happens to Manchester United at Bournemouth in the lunchtime-kick off, Arsenal could need a win to return to fifth whilst Wolves look to climb into the top ten for the first time this season.

Wolves could have Morgan Gibbs-White available after a back injury kept him out of their last two matches.
Willy Boly meanwhile is still ruled out after needing ankle surgery.
Form
Arsenal suffered only their second loss in 12 matches after losing to Liverpool on penalties in midweek to exit the Carabao Cup, although they have lost just one of their last seven league games in which they have kept just one home clean sheet.
Wolves saw their eight match unbeaten run in all competitions ended on Wednesday night in the Carabao Cup, although they are unbeaten in their last five league games despite drawing 1-1 in their last two league matches.
Stat Attack
- Arsenal saw a 20 match unbeaten run against Wolves across all competitions ended in April in a 3-1 defeat at Molineux.
- The last two meetings between these teams at the Emirates Stadium ended in 1-1 draws.
- Morgan Gibbs-White has made two interceptions for Wolves this season compared to just once in the entirety of last season.
- Ainsley Maitland-Niles is Arsenal’s only non summer signing who has made more than one assist this season, doing so on two occasions which is more than last season’s single assist.
- Wolves have come from behind in all five of their 1-1 league draws this season.
Prediction
After a mixed showing on Wednesday, Unai Emery has tough decisions to make over who should start because Wolves will pose a stern test with the majority of their top players having been rested in midweek.
I am therefore in two minds because on one hand, Arsenal could put in a typical great home performance or they could be defensively poor as often been the case this season which Wolves would easily punish.
A draw therefore wouldn’t be a bad result for either team but I have a feeling that Arsenal might nick this late on.
Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 Wolves
Result: Arsenal 1-1 Wolves
