Aaron Ramsey has been ruled out for Wales with a thigh injury and will return to Arsenal for treatment.
Ethan Ampadu (back), Sam Vokes (groin) and Tom Lawrence (ankle) are also ruled out for the Welsh.
Slovakia have a full squad available after their opening win against Hungary on Thursday night.
- Wales have won their last two meetings with Slovakia but are yet to record a home win, having lost 5-1 to them in the only previous clash on Welsh soil.
- Both teams have managed to score in the three previous meetings.
- If Ashley Williams starts, he will become Wales’ joint third most capped player alongside Gary Speed with 85 appearances apiece.
I am expecting an entertaining match because both teams have proven goal scorers in them but Wales know how to play the patient game after a grinding win over Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday.
A from behind win therefore wouldn’t be a surprise if can get an early second-half equaliser.
Prediction: Wales 2-1 Slovakia
Result: Wales 1-0 Slovakia
