After an eventful weekend full of drama and a unexpected sacking, Norwich remain top of the Sky Bet Championship.
Emiliano Buendia’s 54th minute strike proved the difference against Swansea as the Canaries remain two points clear of Leeds, who sit second after a poke in from Patrick Bamford saw off seventh-placed Bristol City.

Darren Moore’s reign at fourth-placed West Brom however came to an end after he was sacked following a 1-1 draw with Ipswich, who remain rock bottom and 12 points from safety.
Derby remain sixth after being held to a 1-1 draw by Sheffield Wednesday but the chasing pack are getting closer to the Rams’ final play-off spot.
Nottingham Forest thrashed Hull 3-0 to move to within two points of their local rivals, as Aston Villa and Preston emerged victorious in local derbies against Birmingham and Blackburn with 1-0 wins to round out the top ten.
Villa’s victory however was marred by shocking scenes when a Birmingham fan invaded the pitch during tenth minute and attacked Jack Grealish, who went on to score their winner.
Brentford are also in the mix after coming from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over fifth-placed Middlesbrough, and move six points adrift of the Rams.
Down at bottom, Reading twice came from behind to level against Wigan before Yakou Meite’s 97th minute header sealed a dramatic 3-2 victory as the Royals moved clear of the drop.
Millwall therefore replace them just above the drop after losing away at a struggling Bolton Wanderers, who are now just five points off safety and three behind Rotherham.
Finally, QPR held Stoke to a goalless draw in which Sam Clucas saw red for the Potters after a stamp on Josh Scowen.
