After Saturday’s thrilling action, we have a fun Super Sunday in store as Watford and Chelsea aim to continue their strong starts, whilst Fulham welcome Burnley to Craven Cottage in a bottom of table clash.

Watford vs Crystal Palace (1:30pm)

Vicarage Road

Since both sides arrived back in the Premier League, this has been a relatively quiet fixture with only three goals between these teams at Vicarage Road.

That should change this time round because both are much stronger than last season, so expect a proper battle here.

Watford have been impressive with their attacking style but Crystal Palace like to play on counter, which will test the Hornet’s quality.

In end, I can see Watford continuing their strong start because they look capable all over the pitch, especially if can do what Liverpool did and lure Palace into mistakes.

Prediction: Watford 2-1 Crystal Palace

Jake predicts: Watford 1-1 Crystal Palace

Result: Watford 2-1 Crystal Palace

Fulham vs Burnley (4:00pm)

This match is massive in determining how Burnley will approach this season with their Europa League hopes in the balance.

Although Sean Dyche will be disappointed with how the first leg at Olympiacos went, he knows that a 2-0 win will see them through on away goals which raises questions over how he approaches this league trip to Fulham.

The Cottagers however are yet to win but will enter this with newfound confidence after scoring against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

If can continue that momentum, they probably can win this depending on which Claret players Dyche selects to field.

Burnley however are unbeaten in last ten against newly promoted sides, winning two and drawing eight but are winless in last nine away trips to promoted teams.

I therefore am expecting a draw here which will be a positive for both sides.

Prediction: Fulham 1-1 Burnley

Jake predicts: Fulham 0-1 Burnley

Result: Fulham 4-2 Burnley

Newcastle United vs Chelsea (4:00pm)

Newcastle 3-0 Chelsea.jpg

Following Saturday’s results, victory here will send Chelsea at least second but St James’ Park has been their bogey ground this decade.

From seven meetings on Tyneside since 2010, Newcastle have lost just one home game against Chelsea (December 2011) so I am expecting them to cause problems for Chelsea.

Back in the present, Rafa Benitez knows that the Magpies’ aim is survival whilst Chelsea need as many points as they can from this period before the Thursday-Sunday routine kicks in next month.

I therefore am expecting Chelsea to really go for the win but Newcastle are unbeaten at home in 2018 against members of ‘Big Six’ so can see a draw coming here.

Prediction: Newcastle United 1-1 Chelsea

Jake predicts: Newcastle United 2-2 Chelsea

Result: Newcastle United 1-2 Chelsea
