After Tuesday’s action saw Manchester City and Arsenal progress, Manchester United and Chelsea will be hoping to make it a marquee pair of semi finals.
Can Lee Johnson and his Bristol City side upset the reigning champions?
Reigning champions, Man Utd face a tough away test as Championship side, Bristol City look to dump them out of the cup.
Chelsea meanwhile welcome fellow Premier League side, Bournemouth to Stamford Bridge.
Bristol City vs Manchester United
Bristol City have already knocked out three top flight sides in this cup so Manchester United won’t want to be their fourth victims.
Both teams have reached the quarter final stage before with the Robins winning on both of their two appearances at this stage.
Man U meanwhile have advanced from this stage in four of their last six appearances at this point.
Goal wise, Bristol City have 14 goals from four games whilst the Red Devils have netted six times.
In his press conference, Robins boss – Lee Johnson told BBC Sport that he needs a “hero” to emerge.
Discussing where their hope is going to come from, Johnson said; “The players have got to feel somebody could be that hero in this game.
That is going to have to happen because otherwise I feel that Man U will run riot here, especially with Paul Pogba available.
Prediction: Bristol City 0-3 Manchester United
Result: Bristol City 2-1 Manchester United
Chelsea vs Bournemouth
Antonio Conte’s Chelsea will be hoping to avoid a shock exit here against a struggling Bournemouth side.
Unlike the other game, this fixture has been played in this competition before with the Blues winning 1-0 in August 1994.
Chelsea have won seven of last eight home games in the League Cup but have exited at this stage in three of last five appearances at this point.
Can Bournemouth repeat their 0-1 win at Stamford Bridge from December 2015?
Bournemouth however won here in December 2015 in the league, so will need to rediscover that spirit if want a win here.
Even if they do, I can’t see anything other than a Chelsea win.
Prediction: Chelsea 3-0 Bournemouth
Result: Chelsea 2-1 Bournemouth
