Arsenal are qualified whilst Everton are already eliminated from their groups.
All that leaves for the last two Europa League group stage games, is Europa pride to play for.
Cologne vs Arsenal
Arsene Wenger could give fringe players such as Oliver Giroud, Danny Welbeck and David Ospina a run out alongside youngsters like Reiss Nelson, Eddie Nketiah and Joe Willock.
Cologne are currently engaged in a three way fight for the second qualification spot and a win coupled with Red Star Belgrade and BATE Borisov drawing, could send them up into second place.
Despite a terrible away record against the Gunners, the German side have won their sole home game against Arsenal.
The Londoners have a poor record in Germany, having won just four games from 17 trips and those victories were all against different clubs.
Wenger’s side however have scored in last 13 away games so will be tough to keep out.
Personally, I think this will be tough but can see Cologne edging it purely because a team of fringe players will eventually falter, having not played much before.
Prediction: Cologne 2-1 Arsenal
Result: Cologne 1-0 Arsenal
Everton vs Atalanta
Everton might be eliminated but have shown stronger spirits since losing in Lyon.
Atalanta haven’t visited English grounds before so this is unknown terrority for the Italian side, who have collected eight points so far.
Realistically with not much history to go by, this is a tricky tie to call but I am backing the Toffees based on recent performances.
The fact that they have nothing to fight for will ease any pressure to deliver and help them get a win.
Prediction: Everton 2-1 Atalanta
Result: Everton 1-5 Atalanta
