Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are through to last 16 stage as group winners. Liverpool however must wait another fortnight to book their place in the knockout round, after letting a 3-0 lead slip to draw 3-3 in Seville.
Now Manchester United and Chelsea can join them to make it five English clubs in next round with victories.
Celtic on other hand are unable to progress but can qualify for Europa League round of 32, if they get a point at PSG and Anderlecht lose to Bayern Munich.
Qarabag vs Chelsea (5:00pm)
Chelsea know that victory in Azerbaijan coupled with an Atletico Madrid defeat will send them through.
The first meeting at Stamford Bridge ended 6-0 in Chelsea’s favour but with their Premier League defence on rocks, Antonio Conte may opt to rest players.
Since winning the 2011-12 tournament, the Blues have won just seven from 19 away games in the Champions League, having also lost seven and drawn five (W7 D5 L7).
That inconsistent away record could crop up here because Qarabag have a strong home record this season across all competitions.
Since their season started in August, Qarabag have won eight, drawn three and lost just once at the Azersun Arena.
Ultimately, this will be a tough game 5,000 miles away from home and Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.
If Chelsea can hit the ground running, they will win but if don’t then I expect Qarabag to make things tough.
Prediction: Qarabag 0-1 Chelsea
Result: Qarabag 0-4 Chelsea
Basel vs Manchester United (7:45pm)
Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side can qualify as group winners with at least a draw at Basel.
Basel have hosted English clubs 13 times and are yet to suffer a shut down, having scored in all previous fixtures.
Their home record in last seven European home games however is poor with just one victory, making this a lucrative opportunity for United with Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic amongst their players available.
With Brighton at home on Saturday, Man U can throw the kitchen sink at Basel’s goal and I think they will emerge victorious.
Prediction: Basel 0-2 Manchester United
Result: Basel 1-0 Manchester United
PSG vs Celtic (7:45pm)
This might be a good time for Celtic to head to PSG as the group leaders may rest several stars.
Having won 5-0 at Celtic Park, PSG can afford to relax players now that they have qualified and have Ligue 1 rivals, Monaco to face on Saturday.
Celtic might not be able to qualify for the last 16 but can end a run of three games without a goal against the big spending Paris club.
In six previous trips across the English channel, Celtic won their very first game at Nantes.
Since then, they have drawn two and lost four in France whilst PSG are unbeaten in seven previous games against Scottish clubs.
Celtic will give this a real go but I can see PSG winning this, even if rest key players.
Prediction: PSG 3-0 Celtic
Result: PSG 7-1 Celtic
