Do or Die PL Sunday

This Super Sunday sees an ENORMOUS clash in the relegation battle as champions, Leicester City travel to Swansea looking to avoid defeat.

First up, Chelsea go to Turf Moor to face Burnley as they attempt to avoid falling victim to the Claret’s impeccable home record.

Burnley vs Chelsea

Sean Dyche will be without the suspended Jeff Hendrick for this match as he begins a three match ban. Ashley Westwood or Robbie Brady could gain their first start in his place.

Chelsea however have no absentees and David Luiz is currently playing through the pain barriers.

The match should be competitive because Chelsea has the best away record in the league but Turf Moor is no sane place to visit. Burnley have caused problems for every visitor so far so the Blues are gong to have to do the same if want the three points.

One positive omen for Conte is that Chelsea have become Champions in Burnley’s previous two top flight seasons. This time however, they are set to stick around instead of suffering immediate relegation, Could this put a spanner in the works?

Prediction: Burnley 1-2 Chelsea

Result: Burnley 1-1 Chelsea

Swansea vs Leicester

This match is a do or die game as far as both clubs should be concerned.

Swansea are without Ki Sung-Yeung and Jefferson Montero for the game. Leon Britton could sit this weekend out with a recurring calf injury.

The Foxes are definitely without Leonardo Ulloa but Islam Slimani is a possible doubt with his groin injury.

Leicester will go to the Liberty Stadium full of confidence after an outstanding performance in extra time of their FA Cup replay on Wednesday. If they can pick up from where they finished the extra 30 minutes then we will have a battle on our hands.

Swansea on the other hand are in strong form and will be hoping to condemn the champions to defeat.  Since a 4-0 demolition by Arsenal in mid January, the Swans have been in strong form and suffered only a narrow defeat at Manchester City last weekend.

Given that both are just above the drop zone, a draw here is probably the most likely scenario but could however prove costly come the final day of this season.

Prediction: Swansea 1-1 Leicester

Result: Swansea 2-0 Leicester
